Three different versions of movie poster promotional concept art has been posted by /Film for the Americanized adaptation of John Ajvide Lindqvist's novel Let the Right One In. Supposedly, this art is being looked at to promote the film in international markets. These might still be a good indication of the tome or feel that director Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) is going for. We've posted our favorite one above.
The new film will be called Let Me In, which is a more accurate english language translation of the title of the original novel. It will be "set in the snow covered mountains of a Ronald Regan-era Colorado" and although "the character names have been changed to Owen and Abby (rather than Oskar and Eli)", they "will remain 12-year-olds despite gossip that the film might be teenized to take advantage of the success of Twilight."
The release date for Let Me In has been pushed back to "Fall 2010."
