Stephen Chow No Longer Working For The Green Hornet

Things seem to be not going so smoothly for Seth Rogen and Michel Gondry on The Green Hornet project according to Cinema Blend. Stephen Chow was originally starring as Kato AND directing the film, but then stepped down from the helm citing “creative differences.” Now, he has walked away from the role of Kato. It makes you wonder what's wrong with this film and the script? I mean, honestly, I have my doubts this is going to be any good because I can't for one second believe that it's going to be respectful to the source material. It looks to me to be one of those "let's turn it into a comedy" projects that end up going horribly wrong.

So now there's an open casting call for a new Kato. It reads “ALL ASIAN ETHNICITIES, Male, 20's - early 40's. Brit Reid's manservant/chauffeur by day and Green Hornet's martial arts-skilled sidekick by night. Actor doesn't have to have Martial Arts experience.”

There you go. If you're Asian and looking to get into the movie business, here's your chance.
