Interview With Chloe Grace Moretz For Kick-Ass

After the jump, you can check out an interview with Chloe Grace Moretz about her role as Hit Girl / Mindy Macready in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the graphic novel Kick-Ass. She discusses her character, her character's attitude, the Big Daddy / Hit Girl relationship, working with Nicolas Cage, working with director Matthew Vaughn, and her character's costume. Footage use with permission of Lionsgate.

Dave Lizewski, a comic-book fanboy, decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name -- Kick-Ass -- assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There's only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl and her father, Big Daddy.

Kick-Ass was directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Mark Strong, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Nicolas Cage.

The movie busts into theaters on Friday, April 16th.
